Amable Bourgeois, 84, of Pré-d'en-Haut, died Thursday, February 3, 1994 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Belliveau Village on March 9, 1909, he was a son of the late Philomon and Philomène (Belliveau) Bourgeois. A retired carman with C.N.R., he attended Notre Dame l'Annonciation Church in Pré-d'en-Haut and was a member of Club D'Age D'or de Pré-d'en-Haut.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Aurèle Belliveau (Rita), Pré-d'en-Haut, Mrs. Valerie Bourque (Florence), Moncton, Mrs. Albert Cormier (Aline), Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Gérard Boudreau (Dorine), St. Jean; one son, Philomon Bourgeois, Pré-d'en-Haut, one sister, Mrs. Gérard LeBlarc (Zélica), Belliveau Village; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Laura (LeBlanc Cormier) in 1976; one daughter, Thérèse; one son, Edgar; four sisters, Alice, Evéline, Laudia and Lina ; two brothers, Camille and Alfred.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd. Memramcook with the Funeral mass to be held Saturday, February 5, 1994 from Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Church, Pré-d'en-Haut at 11 a.m. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery, Pré-d'en-Haut.
